The bride’s avant-garde gown, chic veil alternative, and minimal bouquet was a fresh take on bridal fashion, while the groom kept it classic with a black tuxedo. To match their aesthetic, we captured their event with an editorial style and a documentary flair as their Merida wedding photographers. And although their ceremony was met by a sudden shower, everyone embraced the rain and the spontaneity of the moment.

For cocktail hour, guests were greeted with tasty and refreshing cocktails from the locally-loved restaurant and bar Apoala. These cocktails brought a refreshing twist of local flavors to classic drinks. The dinner that followed included a selection of locally inspired cuisine from the Yucatan Peninsula. Their after party went late into the night thanks to the privacy of their hacienda wedding venue, featuring live music from a Cuban brass band.
